{Virginia} Historic Tuckahoe Plantation Wedding by Seth Roberts Photography
From Seth Roberts Photography: “Kristin noted that the motivation for the style of her wedding was the hope to use Virginia made items. She re-purposed antique store finds from throughout the state, and the bent antique fork card holders were made by a local artisan. Jars of honey from local Bearer Farms served as the wedding favors. DIY details also abound as the bride fashioned the wedding day signs out of wood from a friend’s family barn, and also created the centerpieces for the reception. Favorite details from the day included the two piece bluegrass duo that played during the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as the cake pops which allowed guests to enjoy the wedding day sweets while still mingling. When asked about favorite memories from the day, Kristin fondly remembered the moment during the ceremony when a train passed by the plantation. Kristin said, “We simply paused, smiled at each other, and waited for it to pass.”“ Congratulations, Kristin and Russ!
