We are so glad we said “yes!” This wedding is truly a love story that highlights what is most important about a wedding – the relationships. While I LOVE a wedding with tons of extravagant details, this event reminded me that it isn’t the flowers, table linens, and decor that make a marriage – it’s the love. Mandi and Peter’s details were the nature around them and the beautiful setting… The happiness was nearly tangible in the air. This was truly a DIY event. Peter brought the chairs to the gazebo and set them up. Mandi made the bouquets and floral decor. She did the graphic design and chalk work on the beautiful sign. I love that the children were involved, and held places of honor at the ceremony. Oh – and talk about a family event – the bride’s brother got ordained online so he could officiate! What a sweet way to keep a ceremony personal, regardless of the size of your wedding.
