{Georgia} A Perfect Pastel Savannah Wedding by Paperlily Photography
Happy Monday, y’all! Have you ever really wanted something, only to be blessed with something that turned out to be far more awesome? That’s how we felt about this sweet Savannah wedding from Paperlily Photography. As soon as we spotted their work, we knew it had to be featured on The Lovely Find. “Is this wedding available?” we asked. “Not that one,” they said, “but we’ve sent something else we think you’ll like!” More like freak-0ut-and-love-it. It’s just pastel perfection!
From Paperlily Photography: “Ryan & Jessica met while they were serving in the military together…They had to keep their romance very hush hush because of protocol, which made it difficult at times, but also super romantic. Jessica had finished her tour and the couple finally got engaged, but Ryan still had a year left. So the long distance relationship continued, while Jessica made the wedding plans. Being from North Carolina, she knew that it would be a Southern affair, and Savannah was the perfect backdrop. Jessica and her mom were very hands on with the planning and decor, scouring every thrift store and antique shop for all of the vintage china and doilies used for the place settings. Other Southern elements were the ceremony on the Savannah River, a choir singing “Oh Happy Day” during the recessional, the sweet shoppe favors, pastel color palette for decor and bridal party, mason jar cocktails, and their exit by bicycle. Jessica’s grandfather presided over the ceremony, and as a memorial to her father, Jessica had doves released in the beginning of the ceremony…”
