{Georgia} A Whimsical Bridal Session by Lauren Rae Photography
This is one of the prettiest bridal sessions we’ve ever seen. We know you might think we say that practically every time! In our defense, we do kind of love and obsess over weddings in the South. But, really… this whimsical bridal session from Lauren Rae Photography is extra gorgeous! With a vintage chair, unique necklaces, and a beautiful bride rocking her eyeglasses, what’s not to love? Totally adore, y’all, and we think you will, too!
A Southern-Inspired Ohio Wedding by Rothwell Photography
My, my, my, but this wedding is to die for. The bride’s ultra chic and feminine wedding gown and the purple high heels she later changed into; those savvy-looking groomsmen… the purple ombre ruffled wedding cake, the pyramid of happy wedding party members, and the ornate photo frame props used by the happy newlyweds. Although it takes place in Ohio, this wedding has all the heart and soul that we commonly see in the South, and we think it’s lovely!
12 Days of Lovely Christmas Finds, Day 3: A Vintage Day on the Farm
We have something extra romantic and whimsical to share with y’all today. A styled sesh out of Richmond, Virginia from our friends at Retrospect Rentals has our hearts a-fluttering; the vintage styling and the layered wedding cakes lend an air of festivity to the event. Although it isn’t a holiday shoot, it’s our opinion that the velvet couches, the glowing light and the pretty blue, mustard and berry tones give us a hint of all that’s magical about this time of year. Hope y’all love it!
From Retrospect Rentals: “The leaves were so beautiful this year and we wanted the shoot to complement the colors on the farm and the season, focusing on blue and gold. We actually had quite a few more things planned. While we were fortunate enough to not get any damage from hurricane Sandy here in Richmond, we unfortunately had the shoot planned for the day the storm arrived. We had to rush around and get it all pulled together a few days early because we were afraid the leaves would all be blown away afterwards! We wanted the shoot to have a romantic, whimsical and earthy feel.”
{South Carolina} An Engagement Session Inspired by the 1940s
Megan Manus Photography sent us a sweet as pie engagement session with so many lovely elements — an old red truck, vintage clothing for both the bride and groom, and balloons. Although they might not be a signature of the 1940s, engagement sessions with balloons are just something to love. Don’t you agree?
{Alabama} A Vintage-Inspired Road Trip E-Session
Sarah Brewer of Click Photo Designs by Sarah Brewer ventured to Mitchell Plantation for the day to shoot this vintage-inspired e-session with Natalie and Ben, a recently engaged couple. Every once in a while, a photographer gets a craving to do a particular kind of session. Thankfully for us, Sarah sent her brilliant results our way. Natalie and Ben are the PERFECT couple for this, and they make it awesome!
