Our hearts fluttered when we heard that Julia Wade Photography, one of our preferred North Carolina wedding vendors, wanted to pass along a “cozy winter wedding” at Fearrington with us. In fact, we’re falling in love with the ambiance, the purple blooms, the adorable little girls dancing… Julia’s approach to timeless wedding photography means no detail, from the dress to the dancing, goes unnoticed. From Julia Wade Photography: “There were a thousand magical elements that made Savva and Stephanie’s day as incredible as it was. It started with the house that Savva built with his own two hands for his beautiful bride to be; gorgeous daisies and lilies were arranged by hand by some of the sweetest bridesmaids I’ve ever met. A loving best friend was on point the entire day. A grandmother celebrated her 83rd birthday. A vintage car known as the “Super Bee” — that Steph’s parents “got away” in 37 years earlier — was the getaway car; the same man that handed the keys to her parents on their wedding day was present to hand them to Savva and Steph. There was a beautiful traditional Greek dance during a glowing reception… and most importantly, a lot of love. There was a love I saw that day, not only between a new husband and wife, but from a community of friends and family that could not adore this sweet couple more.”

Her purple and green theme perfectly suited a beautiful North Carolina spring. Their first look has by far been my favorite of the season… You felt how much love these two had in that simple moment. It’s one I won’t forget for a long time. The venue, Green Level Gardens, is new to our area; it belongs to a friend of the couple who has since decided to open it to the public as a wedding venue.”

So sweet on Julia Wade Photography. First, I absolutely adore her photographs. Second, she does the thing I don’t expect–she sends me a lovely wedding with little hints of peacock inspiration that is ACTUALLY INSPIRING. This isn’t your run of the mill peacock theme! It is fresh, airy, and beautiful. This wedding is GORGEOUS. Just love the bridesmaid dresses!
