{Tennessee} Historic Cedarwood Wedding by Ace Photography
Micah’s wedding day story is nothing short of a real life miracle. We always love a bride who chooses Historic Cedarwood as her wedding venue because, well, it has to be one of the prettiest places we can think of. But Micah’s inspirational story of courage, triumph, and love {read it here} shines a new light on what’s really important about your wedding day and marrying your groom. “Let nothing come between a bride and her wedding day,” she says.
A nearly fatal car wreck three weeks before her wedding day crushed Micah’s foot in eighteen places, and the injury required extensive surgical repair. Not to be swayed, Micah married Jerry, her now husband, as scheduled. We don’t think a boot can take away from a loveliness that brilliant, y’all, and we think this bride might be braver than a lot of us.
{Tennessee} Lavender Wedding at Historic Cedarwood by Rachel Moore Photography
The Lovely Find is back to beautiful, stunning Historic Cedarwood for this rustic lavender and purple wedding. The bride describes her wedding day as simple, fresh, country; we couldn’t agree more! From the amazing lavender roses in the bouquets and the mason jars filled with purple flowers, to the homemade grape jelly favors and Moon Pies served as a late night snack at the reception, this wedding is absolutely Nashville chic. We adore the “here comes the bride” sign, the romantic first look, and all the design elements that make this wedding an absolutely gorgeous event. The bride even sent along some of the details of their big day for us to share with y’all!
{Tennessee} Rustic Yellow and Blue Outdoor Wedding
Let me just get right to the point. I wish I could skip over that tiny technicality of finding a groom and just marry the team at Historic Cedarwood. Cedarwood is my dream, and I’ve kept that dream since before I started blogging up until now… hundreds of weddings later. So if you designers out there are reading this… I’ll quit my day job if you ever get an opening (really)! Volunteer opening? Internship? Anything?!
Back to the bride and groom! Each love story is unique, but how cool is it that this bride and groom met when she was in kindergarten and he was in the first grade? You don’t see that every day. And I could stare at that ring all day (someone please tell me where it’s from!)… Fantastic wedding, and I really mean it with my whole heart!
Side note: I think yellow must be one of the most difficult colors to work with… one minute you’re sunshine and dandelions, and the next minute you’ve wandered dangerously close to egg yolk territory… but Cedarwood and this couple are just so effortlessly beautiful. They pulled it off flawlessly!
