This sweet coastal engagement session from Laura Yang Photography took place at tranquil Ponce Inlet, Florida. And because the bride and groom hadn’t seen one another for months, they were all smiles and just gorgeous for the engagement session just days before their big day. We’re in love with Danyelle’s style, — from her necklace to her ballet flats — but nothing is as pretty as her obvious happiness to have her groom, Kevin, home again.
From Jordan Weiland Photography: “Caylin and Joe live in chilly frigid Boston, and were down in February for a quick visit. While they were in Florida, we shot their engagement session out at Circle B Bar Reserve, a public park that her grandfather used to own as private land. She has fond memories there, and was reminiscent as we walked on the trails.
She and Joe met as Sally and Schroeder in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Both having a love for musical theater, they love seeing shows together, spending time at the Cape, sampling cupcakes and making each other laugh.
When I asked them about their favorite relationship moments, they both said when Joe proposed. He led Caylin around Boston to her eleven favorite places, all with clues. It ended with him asking her to marry him. He said, “It was her beautiful smile that initially won me over with tears of joy and surprise.” Congratulations, Caylin and Joe!
We have a gorgeous Florida wedding for y’all today! Absolutely sweet and southern-inspired, this blue and purple wedding is full of lovely details, plenty of happy moments, and an abundance of inspiration for any bride planning a southern wedding. The bouquets of orchids and hydrangeas, the harpist at the wedding ceremony, and the bright blue bridesmaid dresses are just a few of our favorite things. And the bride’s wedding gown is one of the prettiest we’ve seen!
Melissa Robinson Photography was able to capture the super sweet moments of this wedding, as well as the gorgeous surroundings and vivid colors. One of the things we love most about Florida weddings is how they can be classically southern and yet completely unique from anywhere else in the South!
Scott and Joanna’s backyard Florida wedding is sweet, Southern, and handmade. We love Joanna’s backless wedding gown with precious lace detailing, their vintage wedding day china, and the arrangements of rustic flowers in shades of orange, golden yellow, and creamy white.
Today’s handmade Florida wedding is precious, and full of examples of a family coming together to show their love and support for the bride and groom. After the bride lost her son while planning her wedding day, all their family made sure a wedding was planned that honored their love, their family, and her son. We’re so glad that This Little Life Photography was there to capture all the special moments and priceless details. A wedding, in the end, is all about the love, y’all.
