{South Carolina} A Myrtle Beach Bridal Session: Mary Catherine
Mary Catherine’s Myrtle Beach bridal session, captured by Carolina Studios by Gillian Reinhardt, is absolutely to die for gorgeous. She had not one, but two silk floral bouquets made by the super talented M. Gladden Designs. Her timeless wedding gown was made even lovelier with the addition of a sparkling silver belt. The icing on the cake: the wind picked up, and Mary Catherine’s dramatic veil made for stellar outdoor photographs at the Grande Dunes Resort and Pine Lakes Country Club.
{Virginia} Ballet Wedding Inspiration at Mount Ida Farm
This two day photo session, originally inspired by Swan Lake, took place against the idyllic backdrop of Virginia’s Mount Ida Farm. Models from the Richmond Ballet are absolutely beautiful and chic, and the story unravels like something out of a wedding fairytale. The property’s reception venue was embellished with classical colors, whimsical desserts, elegant florals, and delicate trinkets that enhanced the Parisian mood of the event. An antique hardwood table with a Chantilly lace runner served as the focal point of the reception, and oversized light bulbs glowed overhead, casting perfect lighting on the Impressionist artwork hanging not far away. The lights adorning the grand staircase mimicked the twinkle of starlight. As the couple danced the night away, it only made perfect sense that actual ballerinas had been called upon for such an opportunity.
{South Carolina} Romantic Purple Wedding at the Creek Club at I’On
We bring our Thursday to a lovely close with a Charleston wedding from Richard Bell Photography. Fresh cupcakes and a surprise treat of burgers and fries awaited the guests at the reception. The traditional ceremony took place at The Citadel’s Summerall Chapel. And despite the fact that it rained on their wedding day, the bride and groom chose to embrace it! They took beautiful rainy day photographs.
