{North Carolina} A Southern Engagement Session at Meredith College
There’s a ton of excitement lighting up the office today! We are super thrilled to feature this southern engagement session at two of our favorite places in North Carolina — Meredith College and the North Carolina Museum of Art! Elizabeth and Nick’s engagement session is pretty, and their dog Hollie is making our day!
From Magnolia Design & Photography: “Elizabeth and Nick were best friends in high school, and became engaged during Elizabeth’s last year in college. For their engagement session, they both chose Raleigh, North Carolina for multiple reasons. Elizabeth attended Meredith College for a year before moving to East Carolina University. This became the first stop for their photos. From there, we decided to use the North Carolina Museum of Art to give their session a more modern feel (Elizabeth is also a graphic designer). They also brought their dog, Hollie, along for the shoot.” Congratulations, Elizabeth and Nick!

From their adorable pup to the bride’s lace wedding gown and the colorful leaves, this southern wedding is just beautiful. Autumn leaves adorned their wedding cake, the bridesmaids wore olive green, and everything is just lovely.
From Katie Estes Photography: “Christine and Michael’s wedding was full of charm! The bride got ready at her parents’ house, which was nestled up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. After the groom arrived and we had taken several sweet photographs on the family land, the wedding party moved to the Smithfield Plantation Pavilion for the ceremony. The fall leaves were in full color, providing a beautiful backdrop. The reception, held at VCOM II at Virginia Tech, was also full of southern charm with corncake placeholders, pulled pork, and sweet tea. Did I mention that the bride was super crafty? She made her own veil, invitations, bouquets for the wedding party, AND the homemade limoncello favors!” Congratulations, Christine and Michael!
{Southern Inspired} An E-Session on the Farm
We are sneaking this lovely e-session into The Lovely Find on an honorary basis due to its many, many lovely qualities: the equestrian-inspired engagement inspiration, one cute dog, a bunch of happy balloons, a totally in love {kissing} couple, rustic farm equipment that would feel right at home on any Southern estate, and lots more.
