{Arkansas} A Colorful Vintage Wedding with Southern Charm
Benjamin and Alexandra’s southern wedding in Arkansas called upon a marigold and pewter color scheme, flowers picked from local gardens, and a sense of family. They were absolutely able to pull together a stunning handmade wedding that included vintage heirlooms, lawn party games, and colorful DIY accents. Hand fans and vintage handkerchiefs were presented to guests to combat the potential heat of the outdoor wedding, while edible candy buttons decorated their wedding cake at the reception. And as a reminder of their dating days, favors of individually wrapped Life Savers were present for guests to take home with them.

From Carrie Joy Photography: “The whole session was fun and youthful, which I loved. They incorporated a lot of really fun props as well – including multi-colored balloons and a green vintage bicyle (which they both rode down an old country road near Kennesaw Mountain National Park).”

The lovely finds: overflowing baskets of fresh and colorful produce, a farmer’s market theme, a short and country chic wedding dress, big and beautiful sunflowers, a trio of cheery bridesmaids, and three fun food trailers to keep guests from going hungry instead of a traditional plated dinner!
