The thing I love most about having a “Southern” wedding blog versus, say, a “vintage” or just “these certain places” wedding blog is that I get to see so much. I’ve been a Southern gal all my life, but every day my inbox is lovingly brimming with new weddings, e-sessions, and bridal inspirations that are perfectly Southern and absolutely new to me–venues and ideas I’ve never seen before. The great thing about the South is that there is SO much to experience – mountains, beaches, lowlands, you name it. The cuisine varies, the culture varies, but despite our differences, at the end of the day we join together with one common belief: we are Southerners! Whatever that means to you, personally, may you carry it with you always.
On to today’s beautiful e-session from Katie Snyder Photography. Mary and Zach had their photography done at Callaway Gardens Resort, where the butterflies joined them for a few of their pictures. Lovely!
A photograph is a moment in time, captured. Caught. Some sort of magic. After the cake is cut, the bouquet tossed, and the first dance danced, your photographs will be the physical memories that remain of your big day. And what makes a photographer truly special is not their ability to capture a pose — that moment you planned on, carefully positioned for, and just knew you had nailed it. Your wonderful, perfect photographer captures the moments in between — your breath caught in your throat, a passing touch on your arm, the starry-eyed glance of absolute adoration. On that note: we love, love, love these photographs from +Raven, and hope you will, too.
