A Downtown Charleston Bridal Session by Carmen Ash Photography
Carmen Ash Photography was there to capture Jessica’s downtown Charleston bridal session. Jessica looked gorgeous in her Romona Keveza gown from Maddison Row, one of Charleston’s sweetest bridal boutiques. And her stop at the Cannon Street Fire department was oh so pretty, urban, and special, as multiple members of Jessica’s new family are firefighters — even her husband!
{Virginia} A Romantic Bridal Session by Laura Gordon Photography
We are of the opinion that Laura Gordon Photography has a truly awesome style. This romantic bridal session is inspiring, stunning, and utterly beautiful. Reminiscent of watercolor paintings, each image, to us, is like an artistic masterpiece. The bride, Jessica, wore a ruffled wedding gown and her mama’s cathedral length wedding gown. To make things even lovelier, her little dog came along for the session, which took place at the venue where she’d soon marry her husband-to-be. Congratulations, Jessica and Andrew!
{Tennessee} A Vintage Bridal Session by Jennie Andrews Photography
This vintage bridal session from Jennie Andrews Photography is just lovely. The bride, Valerie, “borrowed” her mama’s vintage wedding dress from the 1970s, with a plan to surprise her with the bridal portraits on the night of Valerie’s rehearsal dinner. The dress, which is stunning and gorgeous with the bride’s floral crown and fur coat, cost $50 when Valerie’s mama first put it on layaway. We’re so glad it was so well-preserved these last years so that Valerie could rock it in Knoxville.
Her fur coat, her rustic bouquet, and the surprise visit of a flurry of snowflakes make Valerie one of the prettiest, happiest brides we’ve ever seen. We love that the session isn’t focused on how elaborate or expensive the gown is, because we firmly believe this time in your life isn’t all about that. It’s about finding your true love, being happy, being blessed. Beauty is truly not about the clothes you wear… although we think this dress is perfect! And this Knoxville bridal session has us feeling completely inspired.
{North Carolina} A Southern Belle and Her Ballet Slippers
To say we’re in love with this North Carolina bridal sesh at the Raleigh Rose Garden… that just doesn’t cut it! We’re over the moon, ecstatic, elated, every good word one might think of. The lighting is gorgeous, the gown — a Priscilla of Boston — is one of our favorites of all time, and of course we’re longing for ballet slippers of our very own now! And we’re feeling so blessed that Robyn Van Dyke Photography considered us to showcase the absolute beauty in these portraits. If you want to see more of Robyn’s work, you should look at this classic North Carolina wedding next!
From Robyn Van Dyke Photography: “This BEAUTIFUL southern belle chose to have her bridal portraits on a gorgeous spring day. I love that she wore ballet flats underneath her wedding dress to bring out the fact that she loves dancing and ballet!”
{Georgia} A Whimsical Bridal Session by Lauren Rae Photography
This is one of the prettiest bridal sessions we’ve ever seen. We know you might think we say that practically every time! In our defense, we do kind of love and obsess over weddings in the South. But, really… this whimsical bridal session from Lauren Rae Photography is extra gorgeous! With a vintage chair, unique necklaces, and a beautiful bride rocking her eyeglasses, what’s not to love? Totally adore, y’all, and we think you will, too!
