{South Carolina} Romantic Purple Wedding at the Creek Club at I’On

We bring our Thursday to a lovely close with a Charleston wedding from Richard Bell Photography. Fresh cupcakes and a surprise treat of burgers and fries awaited the guests at the reception. The traditional ceremony took place at The Citadel’s Summerall Chapel. And despite the fact that it rained on their wedding day, the bride and groom chose to embrace it! They took beautiful rainy day photographs.

{South Carolina} Vintage Wedding at The Cooper House

This sweet vintage wedding from Brooke Christl Photography is for our DIY brides. When the bride couldn’t find the dress of her dreams, she used the skirt of one gown and the top of another to create the unique look she was after. When her search for lace-covered heels wasn’t successful, she sought the lace and hot glue gun she needed to make her perfect wedding day shoes. In the end, her wedding day was a lovely one, and I adore the little metallic touches everywhere!

This wedding is without a doubt for our country gals–those who want to ride in on a horse to their wedding ceremony! This wedding is for the bride who wants to celebrate with a grand wedding reception in a stable instead of a hotel. This wedding is for bridesmaids who aren’t afraid to mix it up a bit with different colored dresses, for the bride who’s rocking her boots on her big day, and for the groom who knows that sometimes, suspenders are perfectly acceptable wedding attire.
