A Rustic North Carolina Wedding by Big Star Studios

bridesmaid fur stolesWe love this North Carolina wedding by Big Star Studios: “Bouquets and centerpieces were a base of all white flowers combined with woodsy elements like pine cones, fiddlehead ferns and feathers, and soft gray-green dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus.  Cotton added a touch of southern charm in these arrangements.  Dining tables with burlap runners were scattered with gilded pine cones and mercury glass votives.  Heather and her maid of honor wore heirloom fur coats from Heather’s grandmother.  Their wedding rings are also heirlooms, once belonging to Chandler’s grandparents…

Heather and Chandler tied the knot with a backdrop of antique barn doors and curly willow strung with lights.  In lieu of programs, their order of service was handwritten on a chalkboard framed with wood from an old tobacco barn.  Heather’s father walked her down the aisle to an acoustic version of “You Are My Sunshine.” After the ceremony, while bridal party pictures were taken among the train tracks and the Depot, guests snacked on hush puppies and local beer. Dinner from a favorite local barbecue company followed.”
