{North Carolina} A Southern Engagement by Chelsea Nicole Photography
We love this sweet Southern e-session from Chelsea Nicole Photography. The couple even shared a bit of their love story in a “he said, she said” style. We like it so much that we hope to use it again.

She says: Ron and I knew each other for several months before we started dating. I’m pretty certain I knew he was the man of my dreams when, on our first date, we played tennis and he brought a grape Gatorade for me in case I got thirsty. How did he know grape was my favorite?
Ron is the quintessential man to me. He is kind and loving, beyond thoughtful and always a joy to be around. He is smart and funny and has the biggest heart (and smile) of anyone I’ve ever met. I feel honored and blessed that he chose me as his life partner. Ron proposed on Easter morning. He hid my ring inside of a beautiful ornamental egg tucked under the grass of my Easter basket. It was just the two of us and it was impossibly perfect. I felt like I was dreaming and I still do…
He says: I know that this will sound cliche, but on April 8th, 2012 my girlfriend, Mallory, made me the happiest man in the world. I remember I woke up after sleeping only a minimal amount, kissed her on the cheek, slipped out of bed and began to make what would hopefully be the first breakfast of the rest of our lives. I carefully worked in the kitchen while she slept. After eating our breakfast, I asked her to marry me. She became my fiancé, and my life finally began. I love her more than I have ever loved anything in this world. From the moment I met her I knew there was something special. She is smart, beautiful, caring, loving, and amazing. I cannot remember life before her, and I cannot imagine a life without her in it. I love her with all my heart.
