{Georgia} A Savannah Wedding by Bamber Photography
This Savannah wedding from Bamber Photography and Morgan Gallo Events is just darling. The bride and groom grew up just slightly more than a mile from one another, and Ray and Ashlee’s love story began sooner than most. Their wedding, with the ceremony held at Savannah’s gorgeous Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, was southern and sweet. Their wedding day menu included a ton of our favorites, like shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. And they even included favors for the pets of the guests in attendance!
{Tennessee} A Romantic Southern Church Wedding by Vantage Media
We think this southern church wedding is just adorable, and so perfectly Tennessee! We love the inclusion of classic Coca Cola, the bride’s sweet expression, and the joy of the groom. The balloons are perfectly sweet, and so are the pink and coral roses of the bridesmaids’ bouquets.
From Vantage Media: “To me, there’s nothing more romantic than getting married exactly where you met the love of your life. That happens a lot at Bellevue Baptist Church, where kids grow up together from preschool cooties to high school crushes. And that’s the story of today’s lovebirds, Andrew & Rachael. Even when they shyly began dating in high school, their parents knew that this was something different. Everyone knew that these best friends were going to be together forever.” Congratulations, Rachael and Andrew!
{Georgia} A Gorgeous Georgia Wedding by Janet Howard Studio
Are y’all ready to fall in love? This sweet Georgia wedding from Janet Howard Studio, one of our preferred wedding photographers, is just southern inspired wedding perfection at Agnes Scott College. Anemones, pink blossoms, a simple wedding cake topped with pretty blooms, and such a gorgeous venue! This is such a beautiful wedding!
{Virginia} A Traditional Wedding Inspired by Magnolias and the South
Hear about the Virginia wedding day goodness from Sheaulee Ng Photography: “Cassie and Jeff tied the knot at the Doubletree Hotel in Virginia. This wedding was “extra” special to me, not only because Cassie and Jeffrey are such an endearing and sweet couple, but also because I have known Jeffrey’s family for over 15 years.
This classic and traditional southern wedding of course was one of my favorites. When I spoke with Cassie after the wedding, she said Jeff’s impromptu performance of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” was hands down her favorite part of the day. I think I speak for everyone at the wedding that I can’t listen to that song without thinking about Jeffrey and his groomsmen serenading Cassie on the dance floor, with sunglasses and all.
It was hard to top the “boy band” performance, but the entire day was truly amazing. Cassie prepped for the day with her girls and champagne, and calmed her nerves by having her parents come visit. Each detail was handpicked by Cassie, including the magnolia she wore in her hair, the “the flower of the South” that represents purity.
The ceremony was held outdoors, and it was not complete without their furbaby, Leo, walking down the aisle with them. He is such a cutie, and did so well during the ceremony! Of course we needed some post ceremony shots with him as well; they were officially a family!” Congratulations, Cassie and Jeffrey and Leo!
