{South Carolina} Charleston Wedding at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

Charleston wedding blog, Richard Bell Photography, lowcountry weddingsWe have an incredibly wonderful lowcountry wedding from Richard Bell Photography to share with y’all today!  Mell Bell let us in on a few of the snazzy details of Mariah and Tom’s Charleston wedding day: “They are both golfers who fell in love with the Charleston area one golfing trip together.  Guests traveled from all over the world, including New York City and Australia, to be with these two to celebrate their day.  Mariah and Tom chose chic Charleston lamp posts as their place cards, and had lanterns throughout the ceremony and reception locations.  Favors were a cute treat bag filled with the necessary ingredients for s’mores, with which guests could create their own over the fire pit behind the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation.”

{Tennessee} A Southern Military Wedding by KLP Photography

southern inspired wedding photographyHappy Wednesday, y’all!  We are so honored to share this gorgeous military wedding from KLP Photography, one of our preferred Tennessee wedding photographers.  There’s a certain ethereal quality to her photographs that we love so much.  And Jeannie and Chris, the bride and groom, are just too stunning for words.

Jeannie and Chris appear so genuinely in love, and have such a beautiful family, that we know they must be awesome as husband and wife.  The Fillauer Lake House served as the perfect backdrop for all the autumn inspiration, and the hues of gold, orange, and red suited the wedding day perfectly.  We love the pumpkins, the orange daisies, and we especially love the historic barn on the property.  What perfect rustic inspiration for this southern fête!

{Tennessee} Historic Cedarwood Wedding by Ace Photography

southern style wedding cakeMicah’s wedding day story is nothing short of a real life miracle.  We always love a bride who chooses Historic Cedarwood as her wedding venue because, well, it has to be one of the prettiest places we can think of.  But Micah’s inspirational story of courage, triumph, and love {read it here} shines a new light on what’s really important about your wedding day and marrying your groom.  “Let nothing come between a bride and her wedding day,” she says.

A nearly fatal car wreck three weeks before her wedding day crushed Micah’s foot in eighteen places, and the injury required extensive surgical repair.  Not to be swayed, Micah married Jerry, her now husband, as scheduled.  We don’t think a boot can take away from a loveliness that brilliant, y’all, and we think this bride might be braver than a lot of us.

{Georgia} An Amazingly Pretty Southern Fête by Rustic White Photography

pink and white cupcakesI imagine that, in a perfect world, there are cupcakes that look like this, and they’re always fresh.  And these pretty as can be cupcakes are just the icing on the cake of this Georgia wedding.  Ha, ha!  See what just happened there?  Wedding pun magic.  {Sorry, everyone!} –A.

The honest truth: this is one of the prettiest weddings.  Yes, we think that about most {all?} of them, but this one is one for the books.  From the simple and elegant color scheme, to the beautiful surroundings and precious flower girls in white.  From the stunning bridesmaids in floor length dresses, to the handsome groom in his bow tie, to the rocking chairs and white blooms and… goodness gracious, we love everything about this wedding.  Isn’t it the sweetest thing, the photos with the bride in her groom’s jacket?  It reminds us of bygone days and everything we love about romance and chivalry.  We’re blushingly happy with this one, y’all!
