{Louisiana} A New Orleans Wedding by Stevie Ramos Photography
From Stevie Ramos Photography: “Greg and Laura had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony including the signing of the katubah. Their close family and friends did the 7 blessings over them during the family ceremony. Laura’s father is Indian, and she traveled to Indian to purchase a traditional Indian wedding gown for the reception.” Congratulations, Greg and Laura!
{Louisiana} A Country Wedding by Sarah Becker Photography
Courtney and Nehemiah’s romantic Louisiana wedding is a sweet reminder of everything we love about the country. Rustic wooden wedding signs, cowgirl boots, bunches of baby’s breath and a backless lace gown… Haven’t y’all heard that phrase about never taking the country out of the gal? The bridesmaids wore lace and unique turquoise jewelry; the groom wore a cowboy hat and his boots, too. We love how unique this wedding is, and it proves our point that love looks beautiful in more ways and styles than one.

From Sarah Becker Photography: “Nathan and Ali are obviously best friends. They go from being goofy and fun to sweet and romantic (and back again!) at the drop of a hat. They were a dream to photograph! Ali and Nathan’s families were so sweet, and I enjoyed conversations with many of them throughout the day. Their friends were ridiculously fun (and thanks to the groomsmen who commiserated with me by saying, “Aren’t groomsmen the worst?” – they can be a little challenging, but Nathan’s were great!) and were obviously ready to celebrate Nathan and Ali’s wedding! Nathan and Ali are taking a mini-moon to Florida, and planning a longer trip to Italy in the summer. Wherever these two go, I know they’ll take their kindness and love of fun with them!” Congratulations, Nathan and Ali!
{Louisiana} A French Quarter Elopement by Elizabeth Ray Photography
Although they don’t reside in New Orleans, it is the bride’s hometown. She remembered trips to the French Quarter as a little girl. When they were deciding where they should say their wedding vows to one another, Kim and Brian knew that New Orleans was the place for them.
When asked what one word most describes his wife, Brian wrote “myrock.” Isn’t that perfect, y’all?

“The Lovely Find is an exclusive wedding blog.” I love saying that. I’ve been known to say it to people who have no idea what a blog is, and — shame on me — I knew they didn’t have a clue what I was talking about! For all of us who have worked on The Lovely Find since the first day, it’s a dream come true to be comfortable enough with where we are to be brave enough to ask for exclusive content only.
And, truth be told, I was terrified to make the switch. So many of the people I’ve met have been awesome. The thought of not working with them anymore because I added more “rules” to The Lovely Find made me feel less than awesome. I worried, “what if this is wrong for us? What if we’re not big enough or fancy enough? What if we do this and never see another wedding?”
So far, everyone has been beyond fantastic, and for that I want to personally thank you with all my heart. Stevie Ramos Photography, who sent us this Louisiana e-session a while back, found out that we are now requesting exclusive content. She sent us the couple’s absolutely gorgeous New Orleans wedding to share with y’all. Be sure to look for Stevie Ramos Photography in our new Southern Vendor Guides soon!
