A Colorful Vintage Wedding with Southern Charm
Benjamin and Alexandra’s southern wedding in Arkansas called upon a marigold and pewter color scheme, flowers picked from local gardens, and a sense of family. They were absolutely able to pull together a stunning handmade wedding that included vintage heirlooms, lawn party games, and colorful DIY accents. Hand fans and vintage handkerchiefs were presented to guests to combat the potential heat of the outdoor wedding, while edible candy buttons decorated their wedding cake at the reception. And as a reminder of their dating days, favors of individually wrapped Life Savers were present for guests to take home with them.

This wedding serves up everything we love about weddings in the South: gorgeous bouquets, a glamorous wedding cake AND cupcakes, a sweet tea station and bottled cream soda and root beer. The bride arrives in a horse-drawn carriage, while the groom travels to the altar not just by land, but over water, too! Beautiful string lights twinkle magically, and a crystal chandelier centers over the two lovebirds during their outdoor ceremony. We don’t mean to be presumptuous, but we imagine that if Cinderella lived in the South, her wedding could quite possibly look something just like this.

It has been so incredibly hectic {and exciting} organizing the new office! Everything is a bit askew after the move from South Carolina to North Carolina.
