An Alabama Wedding by Chanterelle Photography
This Alabama southern wedding by Chanterelle Photography is the bee’s knees, y’all. From her ethereal wedding veil to the beautifully classic bouquet of white blooms she carried, we’re kind of in love with Courtney and Greg’s traditional Fountainview Mansion wedding day. The calligraphy on their invites, the tall centerpieces of hydrangea and white rose, and the “something blue” that wrapped around Courtney’s bouquet are just the beginning of all the southern goodness.
{Alabama} A Southern Wedding by Morgan Trinker Photography
From Morgan Trinker Photography: “Melissa and Richard are the kind of couple who can keep you laughing until your sides hurt. They’re so much fun to be around, and it only made sense that their wedding was a direct reflection of their love for life and for having a good time. I also loved how very classically Southern the whole day was. The choice of venue, American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, really set the tone with its collection of colonial-inspired buildings. The ceremony was held in a church that looked like it was straight out of historic Boston, and the reception took place in a big red barn next door. The decor centered around a timeless, neutral color palette of various shades of ivory and white with touches of burlap and other natural materials for texture.
It rained on and off throughout the day, but that didn’t put a damper on Melissa and Richard’s spirits. In fact, it even resulted in a gorgeous rainbow, and we were able to capture a photograph of them in front of it. I can’t think of a better way to make lemonade out of lemons!
Since the wedding took place on the first official Saturday of football season (which is huge in Birmingham for both Alabama and Auburn fans), the couple set up a special corner in the reception for guests to watch the game once it came on if they wanted. (Planning your wedding around football games is a REALLY big deal here, so I’m sure this made some of the hardcore fans very happy!) They also made custom beer koozies that said, “we interrupt this marriage to bring you football season.” How fun is that? Overall, the whole day was just such a treat to capture!” Congratulations, Melissa and Richard!

Classic romance from Mariée Ami Wedding Planning Studio is making our hearts aflutter this afternoon. The bride wore a chic and simple wedding gown and carried a bouquet of creamy white, silvery and blue blooms. The ceremony took place on picturesque Lake Martin in Alabama, followed by a traditional and beautiful reception. Rose petals followed the bride and groom’s happy getaway.
{Alabama} A Wedding at Huntsville Botanical Gardens
From Erin Lindsey Images: “Gary and Chyna are a sweet, fun couple from Alabama who are never short on smiles. They got married at the breathtaking Huntsville Botanical Gardens on a beautiful day in September. Their Southern roots showed through their use of mason jars, burlap table cloths, and authentic cowboy (and cowgirl) boots they wore on their wedding day. Chyna loves classic flower bouquets, but decided that she wanted something that she could keep forever. She chose a stunning, unique bouquet made completely out of brooches. Their “cake” was actually tiny cake shooters arranged in tiers on a custom made wooden frame. Their cake topper, which was the cake topper used for many generations in Chyna’s family’s, was set beside the cake shooter display.” Congratulations, Gary and Chyna!
{Alabama} A Rustic Wedding by Rob Ingram Weddings
From Mariee Ami Wedding Planning Studio: “Kristan & Jeremy are such a genuine pair. Everything about their day was “sweet.” They are just a perfect match and really only cared that they got married. Kristan had a piece of fabric that she got while on a mission trip, and the entire wedding design from the paper to the florals stemmed from that — the turquoise, the hydrangeas, the rustic elegance — it all began from that fabric.”
