My, my, my, but this wedding is to die for. The bride’s ultra chic and feminine wedding gown and the purple high heels she later changed into; those savvy-looking groomsmen… the purple ombre ruffled wedding cake, the pyramid of happy wedding party members, and the ornate photo frame props used by the happy newlyweds. Although it takes place in Ohio, this wedding has all the heart and soul that we commonly see in the South, and we think it’s lovely!
With Summer fast approaching, I thought this next wedding was super sweet. And Gypsy Tree Photography (based in Pennsylvania) always knows the way to my heart–she is my honorary Southern gal. Sunflowers decorate the cupcakes. The bridesmaids are dressed in alternating red and orange dresses. In the photos, traditional stuffiness is exchanged for fun poses. The girls hide their faces with their bouquets, hold prop mustaches in front of a “silver bullet” camper, and blow air kisses on the farm.
The lovely finds: pretty bridesmaids in blue dresses and cowgirl boots, horses running free on the farm during an absolutely romantic barn ceremony, rustic chic bouquets for the girls, mason jars for the guests, a sweets display perfect for any country wedding… Oh, how I just adore this celebration from Gypsy Tree Photography, our honorary Southern gal!
I like to think there is a Southern girl inside of every woman – a little bit grace, a little bit country, the perfect pair of boots, just the right necklace… Today I have the honor of sharing with you an inspiration shoot all the way from Colorado (try to figure out how I’m calling that Southern!) that I loved so much because… well, it’s lovely!
