{South Carolina} A Bridal Session at Litchfield Plantation

Tell us about finding your wedding dress.  I have dreamed about my wedding dress since I was a little girl, like most women do.  I had seen the dress in a few magazines, and I thought it was beautiful.  I am a traditional girl.  I knew I wanted something like Grace Kelly–lace and timeless.  I feel that I got that with my dress.  It was ivory, lace, and mermaid fit.  It actually was the first dress I put on.  My mom and I went to the beach one day and thought we would just stop in.  I knew that was the dress from the magazines, so I tried it on and was instantly in LOVE.What do you love most about weddings in the South? I love the charm of a wedding.  The small details that make a wedding unique.What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome in planning your wedding? Being true to myself and what Chad and I had envisioned for our wedding.  When you plan, there are so many people telling you to do this and that.  It becomes a bit overwhelming.  But I knew what I wanted.  In the end, our wedding day was perfect. Wedding Gown: Casablanca Bridal via Amanda’s Collection
